Tape & IDM Loops Sample Pack

Tape & IDM Loops is a free sample pack inspired by the mellow and hypnotic sounds of Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin. This collection of 25 tape and IDM loops is packed with dusty synth melodies, warped synths, hazy pads, dreamy music box textures, and eerie, washed-out strings. You’ll also find crunchy breakbeats, quirky percussion, and bubbling acid-style sequences that bring a more experimental edge to your production flow. Each sample provides plenty of vintage character and a slightly imperfect, lo-fi feel.

These royalty-free loops are perfect for producers making IDM, ambient electronica, downtempo, experimental hip-hop and other styles of music. Each sample comes labeled with its BPM their musical key, making it easy to find sounds that fit your project.
